About

Experience the dreamlike world of Olalaland at the Théâtre Public Montreuil, where performer Clémence Jeanguillaume blends live action with evolving visual projections. Drawing inspiration from silent cinema legends like Buster Keaton and Jacques Tati, this performance explores the whimsical imagination of Madame Olala through a unique combination of music and imagery. Suitable for audiences aged 8 and up, this production is fully accessible to wheelchair users and visitors who are deaf or hard of hearing. Performances run from November 3 to November 10, 2026, with ticket prices ranging from 9 to 27 euros.

Olalaland sketches the portrait of a somewhat dreamy, curious, and quirky character, plunged into a universe that is constantly transforming. The projected drawings, the musical work, and the performance by the exceptional Clémence Jeanguillaume—a multifaceted and unclassifiable artist—intertwine delightfully to create a highly poetic show where everything emerges unexpectedly. The stage thus becomes a porous and shifting space where the body slides into the image to become one.

Inspired by graphic arts and silent cinema—from Buster Keaton to Jacques Tati—this theatrical UFO celebrates the power of imagination and invites both children and adults to a sensory experience. What is the link between the 234 dreams of Madame Olala, a population of mice, and a flying shark? The answer in images and music at the TPM.

Our take on this event

At the Théâtre Public Montreuil, Clémence Jeanguillaume presents a distinctive theatrical performance that blurs the lines between the physical performer and animated visual art. This creative production delves into the surreal world of Madame Olala, featuring elements such as flying sharks and a community of mice, all presented through a lens of poetic playfulness and silent film aesthetics.

The show runs from Tuesday, November 3, to Tuesday, November 10, 2026. Scheduling varies by day: sessions are held from 10:00 to 11:00 on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays; from 15:00 to 16:00 on Wednesdays; and at both 11:00 and 16:00 on Saturdays and Sundays. Tickets are available between 9 and 27 euros.
