Explore the mysterious world of the Queen of Crime during this dedicated cultural series held from September 12 to December 12, 2026. Hosted across several libraries in Paris' 7th, 14th, 15th, and 16th arrondissements, the event features a diverse array of activities including readings, writing workshops, screenings, and lectures. Whether you are a devoted fan of mystery novels or a casual reader, you can participate in these sessions at no cost. For those planning their visit, please note that all participating venues, such as the Bibliothèque Benoîte Groult, are wheelchair accessible.

The Amélie and St Simon libraries (7th), Aimé Césaire and Georges Brassens (14th), Andrée Chedid, Gutenberg, Marguerite Yourcenar and Vaugirard (15th) as well as the Germaine Tillion library (16th) offer a joint cultural program to discover or rediscover the life and work of the queen of crime. Our take on this event

From September 12, 2026, to December 12, 2026, a network of Parisian libraries presents a joint cultural program centered on the life and works of Agatha Christie. This event spans various locations, including the Amélie and St Simon libraries (7th), Aimé Césaire, Benoîte Groult, and Georges Brassens (14th), Andrée Chedid, Gutenberg, Marguerite Yourcenar, and Vaugirard (15th), as well as the Germaine Tillion library (16th).

Participants can engage with the author's legacy through a variety of formats. The schedule includes readings of her iconic stories, writing workshops designed to sharpen your mystery-crafting skills, insightful lectures, and film screenings. This diverse selection of events aims to bring her unique literary world to a wide audience throughout the autumn season.

Attendance is free of charge for all scheduled activities. Each library, including the Bibliothèque Benoîte Groult on Rue du Commandant René Mouchotte, is fully accessible to wheelchair users, ensuring that everyone can comfortably enjoy the program.
