About

Born in the year 2000, at the initiative of brothers Nicolas and Fabrice Laureau (ex-Prohibition), NLF3 develops an instrumental language as shimmering as it is unique. Oscillating mainly between post-rock and electronics, their music – resolutely traveling and adventurous – is sometimes tinged with other colors from elsewhere, such as Brazilian tropicalism. Having published several high-quality albums, the band has proven to be especially gifted for cine-concerts. Created in 2004, the one designed from ¡Que Viva Mexico!, the legendary unfinished film by Sergei Eisenstein, remains iconic. With vivid, contrasting nuances, never flatly illustrative, their musical accompaniment brings a rich echo to the visual power of the Soviet filmmaker.
