We are back for 5 years!

Building on these first four years of occupation, Yes We Camp is back for 5 years at La Buvette du Climat. The City of Paris is renewing its trust in this public/associative partnership and continues to bring this unique landmark to life.

The Canteen

As a resource center, La Buvette du Climat offers a committed menu at the counter and on the plate.

A unique vegetarian and seasonal menu is offered from Wednesday to Saturday from 12 pm to 2 pm, with vegan and gluten-free options. From 11 am and continuously, La Buvette offers homemade cookies and cakes, and in the evening from 6:30 pm to 10 pm, a selection of tapas to share.

Awarded 3 Ecotable macarons, La Buvette du Climat pays close attention to the quality of its supplies and takes care to limit food waste by offering a zero-waste approach and educating the public on sorting practices.

Between January and March, La Buvette served over 300 free meals.

The Bar

The La Buvette du Climat bar offers an alternative, accessible menu committed to ecological transition.

Selection of organic and French soft drinks, sail-transported coffee, carob and chicory, use of deposits for part of our supplies, artisanal and organic beers, selection of natural wines bottled in deposit bottles in Paris by the Joyons cooperative, our partner committed to reducing the environmental impact of wine consumers.

A place of inspiration and resources for the daily ecological practices of citizens as well as restaurant professionals, the La Buvette du Climat bar is also a space for conviviality, discovery, and celebration.

Cultural and food programming

The cultural and food programming of La Buvette du Climat is free, inclusive, and festive. It gives a voice to collectives, artists, and associations committed to fighting climate change and its social challenges, addressing these issues through various formats: concert, exhibition, stand-up, theater, screening, debate, workshop.

Open, participatory, and multidisciplinary, La Buvette's programming is built with those who experience it.

Volunteering

La Buvette du Climat lives thanks to everyone's involvement. Share with us what makes La Buvette and what connects us:

  • Behind the bar: Get involved at the La Buvette bar to support the teams in place, no experience required.
  • In the kitchen: Help with preparing meals for the street outreach on Thursday evenings at Place Baudoyer, in partnership with Le Souci des Nôtres.
  • Cultural mediation: During key programming events, help with setting up exhibitions, welcoming the public and mediation, photography & video shooting.
  • Construction work: Yes We Camp occasionally organizes participatory work sessions to maintain La Buvette's spaces (sanding, assembly, tidying, repairs).
Our take on this event

La Buvette du Climat extends its mission at the Académie du Climat, focusing on sustainable practices and social solidarity. From Wednesday to Saturday, visitors can enjoy a seasonal, vegetarian canteen serving lunch from 12:00 to 14:00, with vegan and gluten-free options available. Throughout the day, starting at 11:00, the bar offers homemade treats, followed by a selection of tapas available for sharing between 18:30 and 22:00.

Recognized with 3 Ecotable macarons, the venue prioritizes low-waste solutions and ethical sourcing, including sail-transported coffee, organic beers, and wines from returnable bottles. The cultural programming is diverse, featuring exhibitions, stand-up comedy, theater, and workshops, all of which are free of charge. This space is designed to be a meeting point for citizens and professionals alike to discuss climate challenges in a festive, inclusive environment.

The initiative thrives on volunteer involvement, including support for local street outreach programs on Thursday evenings. The facility is fully wheelchair accessible and accepts table reservations for individuals and groups. By participating in this collaborative ecosystem, visitors contribute to a long-term project dedicated to ecological transition and community ties in Paris.
