About

Over more than 10 years of existence, Grünt has been a privileged witness to the advent of a new generation of rap. From PLK to Alpha Wann, and including La Fève, the media outlet has established itself as the megaphone for a thriving independent scene. Its legendary video freestyles, high-quality documentaries, and reports, which have accumulated millions of views, are the verbatim records of a new school of rhyme—innovative, musical, and never running out of steam! Since 2022, the Grünt spirit has been adapted into a festival format, betting on emerging talent. After hosting the first stages for Luther, Theodora, NeS, and Houdi—now headliners of the "new gen"—the 2025 edition continues to pass the microphone to this new guard of French rap, featuring the groove of Ino Casablanca, Marseille-born Asinine and her autotuned spleen, the DMV flow of Sherifflazone, and more. We will also see ambassadors of a "Grünt generation," such as Swiss rapper Mairo and his mathematical rap, the insolent spirit of H JeuneCrack, the lyrical art of Lesram, as well as an original creation featuring the Belgian rapper/producer JeanJass and many other surprises. Grünt Festival, for the culture!
