The Alban Satragne PMI center in the 10th arrondissement hosts environmental health workshops for expectant parents and those with newborns. These sessions focus on creating a healthy living space during a child's first 1000 days, covering topics such as hygiene products, textiles, and nutrition. The workshops are free and designed to be inclusive, offering accessibility for wheelchair users, individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing, those who are blind or visually impaired, and people with cognitive disabilities. Advanced registration is required to attend the sessions scheduled for November 4 and December 2, 2026.
Are you expecting a child or have you just welcomed one? The City of Paris invites you to participate for free in "My first environmental health workshop," a new workshop to help you create a healthy environment during pregnancy and from the first months of your child's life. The first 1000 days of your child's life, from pregnancy to their second birthday, are crucial for their health. These workshops aim to help you better understand the impact of the environment on your baby's health: hygiene products, textiles, food, toys, household products... and provide you with the keys to act simply, without disrupting your daily life or your budget. Led by specialists in environmental health and early childhood, these group workshops are free and open to all expectant parents or parents of newborns. At the end of the workshop, you will leave with an environmental health kit: healthy products, practical fact sheets, simple recipes... Everything you need to get started with complete peace of mind!

The first 1000 days of a child's life, starting from pregnancy through their second birthday, are crucial for their long-term health. The City of Paris hosts "Mon premier atelier santé environnement" at the Alban Satragne PMI center to guide families in fostering a safe home environment.
During these two-hour workshops, led by specialists in environmental health and early childhood, you will learn about the impact of everyday items like cleaning supplies, toys, and textiles on your baby's wellbeing. The goal is to provide practical, budget-friendly advice that can be easily incorporated into your daily routine. At the end of the session, attendees receive an environmental health kit including safe products, practical guides, and simple recipes.
The sessions run from 14:00 to 16:00 on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, and Wednesday, December 2, 2026. Participation is free, and there are no income requirements. The center is fully accessible to wheelchair users, individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing, those who are blind or visually impaired, and people with cognitive disabilities. Please note that registration is mandatory to secure your spot.
