About
The Lefebvre-Périchaux PMI center invites expectant and new parents to join a workshop focused on environmental health. This session provides practical guidance on creating a healthy living space for children from pregnancy through their first two years. Participants will learn how to make simple, budget-friendly choices regarding household cleaning products, toys, and diet. Led by early childhood and environmental health specialists, these sessions are free to attend. The facility is fully accessible, including accommodations for the hearing impaired, visually impaired, and those with cognitive disabilities. Sessions are held on November 4 and December 2, 2026, and require prior registration.
Are you expecting a child or have you just welcomed one? The City of Paris invites you to participate for free in "My first environmental health workshop," a new workshop to help you create a healthy environment during pregnancy and from your child's first months.
Your child's first 1000 days, from pregnancy to age two, are very important for their health. The goal of these workshops is to help you better understand the impact of the environment on your baby's health: hygiene products, textiles, food, toys, household products... and give you the keys to take simple action without disrupting your daily life or your budget.
Led by specialists in environmental health and early childhood, these group workshops are free and open to all expectant parents or parents of newborns.
At the end of the workshop, you will leave with an environmental health kit: healthy products, practical sheets, simple recipes... Everything you need to start with peace of mind!

Our take on this event
The first 1000 days of a child's life are crucial for their long-term health. Located in the 15th arrondissement, the Lefebvre-Périchaux PMI center offers these workshops to help parents identify potential environmental risks in everyday items like hygiene products and clothing. The goal is to provide actionable advice that fits into your existing lifestyle without requiring significant lifestyle changes.
Each workshop takes place from 14:00 to 16:00 on November 4 and December 2, 2026. These meetings are free of charge and open to all, regardless of income level. The center ensures accessibility for all attendees, with specific support for individuals who are deaf, hard of hearing, blind, visually impaired, or living with cognitive disabilities.
By the end of the session, attendees receive an environmental health kit featuring safe products, practical fact sheets, and easy recipes to support a healthy home environment. Registration is required for these upcoming dates.
