Fest-Noz

Fest-Noz

July 26, 2026Free

"Breizh power"

Tsef Zon(e) is Breton slang for Fest-Noz. That sets the tone. With their duo, the C'hoari company brings a breath of fresh, salty air just a short distance from the Montparnasse Tower. Drawing from traditional Breton dances, the two performers mischievously shift their codes. They are there, facing us. A steady rhythm sets in, bodies align, and the pace intensifies. Little by little, the movement takes hold, spirals follow one another, and a connection is created. The dancers intersect their movements with joyful precision. Then everything changes: the dance becomes contagious, the audience is drawn in alongside them, carried by the live music of a vibrant trio: Fleuves. This standard-bearer of new Breton music bursts onto the scene, sweeping everyone into a collective trance where electronic culture, jazz, and rock influences blend with the richness of Breton culture!
