Renaud Capuçon and new-generation soloists come together for a program of French chamber music.
A contemporary creation, commissioned by the festival from Jean-Baptiste Robin and presented in two versions (for viola and piano, and then for viola and organ), will accompany the festival's three concerts and serve as the common thread for this edition.

The "Premier Mouvement Festival" is a new chamber music festival imagined and artistically directed by violist Paul Zientara. Its first edition will take place in Paris from January 8th to 11th, 2027, under the patronage of violinist Renaud Capuçon. Supported by the Classique en Seine association, the festival was born from the desire to support a new generation of performers while offering a different way to experience classical concerts. Designed as a traveling festival, it will take place in several iconic venues across the capital.
