Seed and Cutting Swap 2026

Refresh your home plant collection by joining a community of local growers and green-thumbed enthusiasts. Whether you have rare cuttings to spare or are just starting your botanical journey, this lively plant swap is the perfect spot to pick up some new greenery and share growing tips.

The Hélène Berr Library in the 12th arrondissement hosts a series of seed and cutting swap events, inviting local gardening enthusiasts to connect and exchange plant varieties. Designed for participants aged 12 and up, this gathering encourages the sharing of knowledge about seedlings and gardening practices in a friendly atmosphere. Whether you bring your own cuttings or arrive empty-handed, you are guaranteed to leave with new additions for your green space. These sessions are completely free of charge and the venue is fully accessible, including facilities for wheelchair users and those with cognitive disabilities.

Join the gardening community at the Hélène Berr Library for a series of swap sessions held on October 24, November 21, and December 19, 2026. Each event runs from 15:00 to 16:30, providing a space to discuss propagation, swap seeds, and share cuttings with fellow plant lovers.

While you are encouraged to bring your own excess plants or seeds, there is no obligation to arrive with items in hand; the goal is to keep the local urban flora circulating. Beyond the exchange, attendees can explore the library's seed library and enjoy a relaxed social environment within the library's garden.

This activity is open to anyone aged 12 and older and is free to attend. The organizers have ensured that the space is inclusive, offering full access for wheelchair users as well as accommodations for individuals with cognitive disabilities.
