Experience a rural escape in the heart of the 18th arrondissement at the René-Binet educational farm. Every Saturday until October 31, 2026, this urban oasis welcomes visitors to discover its resident pygmy goats, Ouessant sheep, poultry, and rabbits within enclosures designed for their comfort. Accompanied by mediators from the Paris Farm, you can explore the vegetable patch, the aromatic alley, and the orchard. Admission is completely free, and the entire site is wheelchair accessible, ensuring that this unique nature experience remains open to everyone in the city.
Come and meet the mediators from the Ferme de Paris to discover the needs of the animals that live there. This educational farm is home to dwarf goats, Ouessant sheep, as well as chickens, turkeys, and rabbits, all kept in enclosures and pastures that ensure their well-being. You can also explore the crops in the vegetable garden, walk along the aromatic path, and admire the espalier orchard.
Established at the end of 2019, the urban educational farm is located at the back of Square Binet, complete with its orchard. A unique spot of nature in the city, open to everyone in the 18th arrondissement. It offers activities for children from schools and recreation centers. Many activities are organized there. Tours, workshops, and even conferences are held to raise awareness among children and adults about urban agriculture while showcasing different types of livestock adapted to city life.
