The Médiathèque James Baldwin welcomes children and teenagers aged 4 to 17 to discover their creative potential at the Fabrique à Brac workshop. Held monthly on Wednesdays, these hands-on sessions provide a dedicated space for crafting and artistic expression in the heart of the 19th arrondissement. Whether you enjoy building or imagining new projects, these workshops offer a collaborative environment for young creators. Participation is completely free of charge, with no prior online registration required; simply sign up on-site on the day of the event, subject to capacity, to join in the fun at the library’s third-floor leisure area.
On the last Wednesday of every month, manual workshops for creative minds are offered.
Come build, discover, and imagine… during a moment of sharing in the 3rd-floor leisure area, from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM.

Our take on this event
During the Fabrique à Brac workshop, children and teenagers are encouraged to explore their artistic skills through a variety of manual activities. These sessions are scheduled to take place on Wednesdays, October 28, November 25, and December 30, 2026, running from 16:00 to 17:30. The activities are hosted in the leisure space on the third floor of the Médiathèque James Baldwin.
Attendance is free for all youth aged 4 to 17. To participate, please register in person at the venue on the day of the session, as spots are limited and provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
The library is fully committed to accessibility, ensuring that the space is wheelchair-accessible. Furthermore, the workshop is designed to be inclusive for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing, blind or visually impaired, or have cognitive disabilities. The use of sign language is also integrated to support communication, ensuring that all participants can enjoy this creative experience together.
