About
The L'Heure joyeuse library invites children from age 5 to P'tit ciné, a series of events bridging the gap between children's literature and animation. During these sessions, librarians present a selection of film excerpts alongside readings of the original tales found on the library shelves, encouraging children to view familiar stories from a fresh perspective. This engaging experience is held in the 5th arrondissement and is entirely free of charge. The library is fully accessible to wheelchair users, as well as visitors who are deaf or hard of hearing, and those with cognitive disabilities.
The librarians welcome you!
Very often, animated films are based on tales found on the library shelves.
The librarians combine film clips and readings in a moment of sharing with children, helping them take a fresh look at these stories adapted for the screen.
