The Musée Bourdelle invites art enthusiasts to explore the tactile craft of clay modeling. Running from October 24 to December 12, 2026, these workshops are open to adults and teenagers aged 15 and over. Under the guidance of a professional artist, you will learn to sculpt by copying a bronze work specifically selected from the museum's private collection. The venue is fully wheelchair accessible and designed to accommodate visitors with cognitive disabilities. To ensure your creation makes it home safely, please bring a small box or shoebox to carry your finished piece after the session.

The Bourdelle Museum invites visitors to workshops introducing the technique of clay modeling. Whether a beginner or experienced, each participant copies a bronze work by Antoine Bourdelle, exceptionally brought out from the reserves. Following the advice of a museum artist, everyone learns the modeling technique and gives shape to their block of clay by drawing inspiration from the model.
At the end, each participant leaves with their creation.
Audience: adults, teenagers from 15 years old
It is recommended to bring a shoebox or a small cardboard box to transport your creation at the end of the session.
Our take on this event
Located in the 15th arrondissement, the Musée Bourdelle hosts three modeling workshops on October 24, November 25, and December 12, 2026. Each session runs from 10:00 to 14:00, allowing participants to work closely with a museum artist to replicate a bronze sculpture by Antoine Bourdelle.
Whether you are a beginner or experienced in sculpture, the workshop is designed for anyone aged 15 or older. Tickets are priced at 20 € for the full rate and 16 € for the reduced rate. The museum ensures inclusive access, welcoming participants who use wheelchairs and providing an environment suited for those with cognitive disabilities.
At the end of the four-hour workshop, you will leave with your own clay model. We recommend bringing a cardboard box or a shoebox to safely transport your work.
