About
Feibai Institute hosts the Chasse aux images art workshop during the Toussaint school holidays, running from October 21 to October 23, 2026. Designed for children aged 6 and up, this multidisciplinary program blends museum exploration with studio creation. Led by artists and researchers ZHAO Fei and HU Jiaxing, young participants observe historical masterpieces to inspire their own artistic output. Sessions take place from 10:00 to 16:30 in the 1st arrondissement. All necessary materials are provided for the duration of the course, ensuring a seamless creative experience for every student.
Finding inspiration, practicing, and creating alongside masterpieces of art history is crucial for artistic and cultural education. Image Hunt is such an artistic and multidisciplinary program, organized as an intensive workshop for art-loving children from 6 years old. Over several days, we will guide our little art hunters to explore museums or historical sites, sketch masterpieces, and dive into the study of their aesthetic styles to gather the inspiration needed to create unique works in the studio.

Our take on this event
During the 2026 Toussaint break, the Chasse aux images workshop offers a deep dive into art history and practical techniques. From Wednesday, October 21, to Friday, October 23, between 10:00 and 16:30, children visit museums and historic sites to sketch and analyze aesthetic styles. These field studies provide the foundation for creative work conducted at the Feibai Institute, located at 10, rue Thérèse, 75001 Paris.
The program is directed by ZHAO Fei, an artist-researcher, and HU Jiaxing, a calligraphy artist and researcher, who bring their academic and artistic expertise to the sessions. The curriculum is open to all skill levels and includes all art supplies.
Participation options include a 3-day pass for 260 euros or a 2-day pass for 180 euros. Enrollment is required to secure a place in this intensive program, which aims to bridge the gap between historical inspiration and individual creation.
