Our take on this event
Weekend mornings just got a whole lot brighter for parents with little ones under six. Local nurseries are turning into vibrant playgrounds, offering free creative activities that make for the perfect neighborhood bonding session. Swing by to swap screen time for sensory play and meet other local families along the way.
The Samedis en Famille program opens municipal nurseries and numerous school playgrounds across Paris every Saturday. This initiative offers parents and children under 6 years old the chance to enjoy dedicated play and discovery activities together. It is an excellent opportunity to utilize safe and adapted facilities throughout the city. Participation in these sessions is completely free of charge. Access is granted on a first-come, first-served basis, and please note that children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a guardian when visiting the school playgrounds.
From 03/01/2026 to 03/07/2027, the City of Paris hosts its weekly Samedis en Famille events. Families with children under 6 years old are invited to join various municipal nurseries, such as Rambuteau, Bassompierre, Louis Blanc, or Villiot, to engage in early childhood development activities in a welcoming environment.
Additionally, 42 school and college playgrounds are opened to the public every Saturday. Certain sites provide organized entertainment, with specific program details posted at the entrance of each location. These spaces offer valuable recreation areas for local residents.
All activities are free and open to everyone, subject to the venue's capacity limits. Regarding the school playgrounds, please ensure that any child under 12 is supervised by an adult at all times.
