About
"It was the Wild, the savage Wild, the icy-hearted, Northland Wild... Yet, there was life there, a challenge to it." Do you have the soul of an adventurer? The intoxicating air of wild spaces blows through this concert inspired by the books of Jack London! Thanks to the drawings of Jules Stromboni, travel through a magnificent and cruel nature, of immaculate white, where wolves fight to survive. The galvanizing energy of Sibelius – with the famous theme of "The Swan of Tuonela", a hymn to nature and wild life – stands alongside the epic grandeur of Dvořák's "New World" Symphony and the seduction of Copland's Rodeo ballet suite, which takes us into the vast plains of the West.
