Vacation workshop for teens aged 12-15 — Constellations with Élise Toïdé
The workshop with artist photographer Élise Toïdé offers teens aged 12 to 15 the chance to create constellations of images from their own photographs.
Maison Européenne de la Photographie (Paris 4th)
About
Through a photographic stroll in the city, its streets, and its gardens, this workshop will offer teenagers a chance to collect images in a personal and poetic way.
From one image to the next, during shooting sessions guided by the photographer, they will capture landscapes, objects, plants, animals, and portraits, both near and far. Beyond learning photographic techniques, the teenagers will be invited to pay attention to those suspended moments where fragility meets lightness, bringing beauty into everyday life. Between self-revelation and opening up to the world around us, this workshop proposes to document each participant's sensitivity through images.
The produced photographs, both individual and collective, will then be assembled into constellations, inviting contemplation and sharing through a new form of visual storytelling.
On this occasion, Élise Toïdé will present some of her projects, including les vagues and Gabrielle, and will share with the group her artistic research on the imagination, memory, and the possibilities for poetic narratives that photography offers.

Élise Toïdé
Élise Toïdé develops a film photography practice, using 35mm, where portraits, landscapes, interiors, and fragments of daily life compose open-ended narratives. Her work explores time, memory, intimacy, and vulnerability, with particular attention to youth, states of transition, and living beings. Nourished by literature, cinema, and art history, she is interested in the traces left by individuals, places, and their environment, and in how photography can evoke narratives and imaginaries.
