On Monday, October 19, 2026, Fred Pallem brings his exploration of American folk music to the Studio de l'Ermitage. Trading his usual arrangements for acoustic guitar and vocals, he revisits the works of legends like Neil Young, Townes Van Zandt, and Gene Clark. Joined by Ludovic Bruni on pedal steel guitar, as well as drummer Swanny Elzingre and bassist Paul Iron, the ensemble crafts an atmospheric journey through folk traditions. This event is exclusively for guests aged 18 and over. Tickets are available for 21:00 EUR in advance or 26:00 EUR at the door.

We were less aware of his long-standing passion for folk music, which he now fully embraces by taking on vocals and acoustic guitar, revisiting several decades of a popular repertoire ranging from Neil Young to Joe Henry, including Gene Clark, Townes Van Zandt, Ray LaMontagne, and a few others.

A journey through American lands at sunset, embellished by the pedal steel guitar of Ludovic Bruni (Natalia M.King, Imany), the rhythm of Swanny Elzingre on drums and backing vocals (Juniore, Julien Bitoun), and Paul Iron on bass and backing vocals (Julien Bitoun & The Angels).

The program is presented in duo, trio, and quartet formats.
