Campus de la Résilience (Paris 15th)

About

The Campus de la Résilience opens its doors on Saturday, October 17, 2026, in the 15th arrondissement for a day focused on urban risk management. Whether you are curious or eager to learn how to better react to heatwaves, floods, or fires, this free event invites you to test your reflexes during immersive workshops. In collaboration with the Paris Fire Brigade and the Civil Protection, this new venue offers demonstrations and meetings with experts. Take this opportunity to discover practical prevention tools and interact with emergency professionals. Many activities are available free of charge upon prior registration.

Heatwaves, floods, fires, accidents: come test your reflexes, discover the right actions, and take on challenges!

Would you know how to react in the event of a flood? What to do if a fire breaks out? How to protect yourself and your loved ones during extreme heat? What reflexes should you adopt when faced with everyday risks? Why are forest fires increasing and how can you prepare for them? How has Paris adapted to heatwaves over time?

  • On the program: experiences, demonstrations, meetings, and workshops to discover the right reflexes in the face of the risks that surround us, and above all, to test them yourself!

Come test your knowledge, take on challenges, experiment with tools, go behind the scenes of emergency services, and exchange with those who work every day to better protect Paris. Firefighters, researchers, scientists, associations, and prevention stakeholders will be there to share their knowledge and experiences.

  • The goal? To understand the risks, know how to react, and leave with concrete solutions for you and your loved ones.

What is the Resilience Campus?

Housed in a 400 m² historic location, the Resilience Campus is the City of Paris's new venue, in partnership with the Paris Fire Brigade and the Civil Protection, dedicated to the culture of risk.

Open to young and old alike, the Campus will offer free activities, training, conferences, immersive experiences, and events all year round to better understand the risks that can affect Paris: heatwaves, floods, fires, domestic or technological risks.

The Campus is also a place to meet and take action. Professionals, associations, families, residents, researchers, and local stakeholders will be able to share their knowledge, experiences, and initiatives to contribute to a better-prepared, more solidary city capable of dealing with risks.

Our take on this event

Located on Rue Balard, the Campus de la Résilience will inaugurate its 400 m² space on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 10:00 to 18:00. This site, created through a partnership between the City of Paris, the Paris Fire Brigade, and the Civil Protection, aims to raise awareness about technological and household risks.

The day's program is extensive: explore the 'risk apartment' with firefighters, test the 50°C truck (reserved for adults), or participate in the Cardio Challenge Heroes. Families can experiment with climate phenomena alongside Les Petits Débrouillards. Exhibitions on the history of Parisian heatwaves and adaptation solutions for 2050 will also be on display.

Participation in workshops, role-playing, and simulations requires prior registration. Do not miss the 'Samedi qui sauve' workshop, open to anyone aged 10 and over, where you can learn life-saving first aid techniques and receive a certificate of participation.
