About

Experience the wit and charm of "Je t'aime à l'italienne et à l'algérienne," a comedy celebrating multicultural love and its unexpected complications. The story centers on Aïcha and Carlo, a couple of two years whose relationship faces a turning point when Carlo realizes he has neglected to tell Farid—Aïcha's brother and his own best friend—about their romance. The situation escalates with the arrival of the flamboyant Rachel, who threatens to disrupt their secret dynamic. Hosted at La Divine Comédie in the 9th arrondissement, this production is suitable for audiences aged 12 and up and takes place every Saturday from 12:00 to 19:20.

Does the title of this al dente comedy remind you of a cheesy, maybe even a little sappy Frédéric François song? That's normal, because in "I love you the Italian way," it is obviously about love.

And more specifically, the love story between Aïcha and Carlo that has been going on for two years. But there is a catch: Carlo "forgot" to tell Farid, Aïcha's brother and incidentally his best friend.

How will he react?

The arrival of the flamboyant Rachel might just jeopardize everything…

Did you know?

After 6 Avignon festivals, and a tour in France and abroad, this comedy about multicultural love already has more than 1,000 performances and 500,000 spectators!

A true anthem to love and diversity!
