About

The Festival will take place from October 7 to 13, 2026, featuring the screening of 19 exceptional films and a screening session dedicated to short films selected by the Cineffable association. At the exceptional price of 6 euros, most screenings are followed by discussions with speakers from the world of cinema, as well as institutional and non-profit sectors.

Premieres of this edition

On Wednesday, October 7, at UGC Bercy, the opening session will feature the premiere of 15/18, in the presence of its director Cédric Kahn. In competition at the 2026 Venice Film Festival, it addresses the issue of the stigmatization of mental disorders in adolescents while depicting diversity within a child psychiatry unit of a public hospital. On Tuesday, October 13, La Gradiva by Marine Atlan will be presented as a premiere in the presence of the film's team. Grand Prix winner of the 2026 Critics' Week, this feature film addresses several themes through the lens of adolescence, such as sexual orientation or social exclusion.

Gems among gems

Another screening example is that of the film Ma frère by Lise Akoka and Romane Guéret at UGC Montparnasse. It notably addresses issues related to social and cultural origins, as well as interfaith dialogue through the friendship of two young girls from the 19th arrondissement. Zarts Prod will present short films on discrimination made by young people supported by the association.

At UGC Lyon-Bastille, the Cerebral Palsy Foundation and the Association of Friends of the Foundation will speak after the screening of the film Presque. Co-directed and starring Bernard Campan and philosopher Alexandre Jollien, it sheds light on disability, how others perceive us, and difference through the friendship between an undertaker and a vegetable delivery man with cerebral palsy.

The film La Maison des Femmes, by Mélissa Godet, is scheduled at UGC Lyon-Bastille, including discussions with Ghada Hatem-Gantzer, founder of the Maison des Femmes in Saint-Denis. At UGC Ciné Cité Paris 19, the film Plus fort que moi by Kirk Jones will be screened in the presence of the French Tourette Syndrome Association (AFSGT).

The festival is rich with many other films. We invite you to come and discover them during this unique cinematographic event!
