About
The Monte le Son Ô féminins festival hosts a thought-provoking panel discussion at the Médiathèque Françoise Sagan, focusing on the role of women and gender minorities in the French music scene. Four industry professionals—Liza Bantégnie, Adeline Ferrante, Tifenn Monnereau, and Laura Zeguers—will explore current challenges and progress regarding equality in the sector. This event is open to attendees aged 18 and over and is fully wheelchair accessible. Admission is free, though advance booking is required to attend. It provides a crucial space to examine how the professional landscape is shifting towards greater inclusivity before the evening continues with a live performance.
What is the place of women and gender minorities in the music industry in France today? Has the sector evolved in recent years? Has the salutary feminist wave changed things in this professional environment? Judging by the numerous initiatives seeking to advance the cause of women in this environment, there is still a long way to go to achieve equal treatment between women and men.
To discuss this, we are hosting four professionals from the sector: Liza Bantégnie (DJ and founder of Cartelle), Adeline Ferrante (founder of Fougue), Tifenn Monnereau (booker for Vedettes, co-programmer of Burning Womxn), and Laura Zeguers (booker for Divergences, co-programmer of Burning Womxn).
Free event, by reservation, followed by the Paris Banlieue concert, at 9:00 PM.
An engaged feminist artist, Liza Bantegnie is a musician under the name Zélie Zénon, co-founder of the record label Cartelle and DJ Liza Liza, defending a selection dedicated to M.I.N.T. (Women, Intersex, Non-binary, Trans) artists behind the decks.
An independent producer and publisher, Adeline Ferrante supports songwriters, composers, and performers.
For 15 years, she has navigated between the current music scene and live performance, creating bridges between artists and cultural actors.
In 2023, she founded Fougue, a production company that brings together the plurality of her activities: phonographic production, music publishing, live performance production. At Fougue, she supports Uzi Freyja, le talu, Asfar Shamsi, and Stencia.
After a few years spent in communication and production, Tifenn Monnereau joined VEDETTES as a booker in 2025. She also co-programs the feminist art festival BURNING since 2022. Through these two activities, she works and campaigns for inclusive music and scenes.
Laura Zeguers is currently a booker for the agency Divergences, a speech therapy student, and co-music programmer of the feminist art festival BURNING since 2025. Having worked in production, administration, and distribution in concert halls, music creation centers, booking agencies, and artist companies; she is passionate about experimental and electronic music and puts her political commitment at the service of engaged artistic projects.
Our take on this event
On Friday, November 20, 2026, from 18:30 to 20:00, the Médiathèque Françoise Sagan presents a discussion on gender representation within the music industry. The panel brings together four experts: Liza Bantégnie, founder of Cartelle; Adeline Ferrante, who established the production house Fougue; Tifenn Monnereau, a booking agent at Vedettes; and Laura Zeguers, a booking agent at Divergences. Both Tifenn Monnereau and Laura Zeguers are also co-programmers for the Burning feminist art festival.
Designed for an audience aged 18 and older, the talk delves into the professional experiences of these women, covering music production, booking, and their advocacy for more inclusive stages. The speakers share their insights on how to foster equity for M.I.N.T. artists and how to drive real change within the French cultural sector. The venue is wheelchair accessible, ensuring an inclusive environment for all participants.
