About
The 39th Brassens and French Song Days take place on October 3 and 4, 2026, at the Parc Georges Brassens in Paris's 15th arrondissement. This cultural event celebrates the singer's legacy while showcasing the current French music scene through concerts, conferences, and awards ceremonies. Visitors can enjoy performances from established artists and emerging talents in a festive atmosphere. Admission is free for everyone, and the venue is fully accessible to people with reduced mobility, as well as those with visual, hearing, or cognitive impairments.
On October 3rd and 4th, this completely free event will bring the spirit of Brassens to life, while offering a platform to the new French-speaking scene. Each edition brings together professionals and the general public in the autumn in the heart of the Georges Brassens Park (Paris 15th) around a program of concerts, award ceremonies, and conferences.
As for concerts, performances will include Cali (Sunday, time to be confirmed), ArchiPol (winner of Découvertes 2025 and Brassens Trophy 2025 & 2026), Makja (winner of the Brassens Trophy 2026 - jury prize & audience prize), Glayds (violinist & backing vocalist for Benjamin Biolay), Les Amis de Brassens (Bruno Granier, cousin of Georges Brassens), Cat Loris, Marc Garcia Vitoria, Brassens Brasil (Dudu Flexor), etc., as well as various choirs.
Furthermore, the 'Les Découvertes des Journées Brassens' showcase (created in 2025 under the patronage of Benjamin Biolay) affirms the desire to contribute to the emergence of new talent. With a partnership with the Brassens Trophy of the city of Sète, a musical bridge between the capital and Georges Brassens' hometown is built over the years. In addition to Archipol (winner of the Les Découvertes Paris 2025 showcase) and Malka (winner of the Brassens Trophy 2026 Sète - jury prize & audience prize), the 2026 winner will perform during the 39th edition of the Brassens and French Song Days.
