About
While Franck's Violin Sonata is today one of the most famous works in the chamber music repertoire, Chausson's Concert, more rarely performed, offers a precious discovery of this heritage through writing of great harmonic and expressive richness.
From Franck to Chausson, a true musical lineage is thus drawn: two deeply lyrical and cyclical works, where themes circulate and transform, revealing in Chausson a personal voice that extends and reinvents his master's teaching.
