About
Lettre Zola is a literary media outlet that offers its subscribers a brand-new story by a contemporary writer every month, based on a real event. Since its inception, young writers like Célestin de Meeûs, Arthur Dreyfus, Mathieu Palain, Blandine Rinkel, and many others have been setting the literature of reality in motion, within an original object halfway between publishing and the press.
Born from the return of war to the European continent, Kometa is an independent magazine that tells the story of the world from the inside, wherever it shifts. From Iran to China, from the United States to Palestine, it gathers journalistic narratives by the greatest writers, testimonies, photographs, analyses, and maps that offer a unique light on our world.
To discuss the intention and ambition of these two magazines, Louis Vendel, founder of Lettre Zola, and Léna Mauger, co-founder of Kometa, are brought together for this Effractions meeting, along with two contributors to their magazines.
The meeting will be an opportunity to launch the short story contest open to everyone, in partnership with Lettre Zola, which will take place from October to the end of December, on the theme "A world without books".
More information to come in the monthly program for November and on the Bpi's social media!
