About
October 20th 10:30 AM Parc Floral de Paris
The patios and pavilions allow us to be sheltered from the elements.
The Parc Floral is one of the 4 sites of the Botanical Garden of the City of Paris.
Created in 1969 to host an international horticultural exhibition, the Parc Floral de Paris still features nationally recognized outdoor plant collections of irises, peonies, and dahlias, including one created by the City of Paris gardeners for the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, with orange-red colors to evoke the Olympic flame.
Old and new features, such as the alkaline peat bog, the Garden of Evolution planted exclusively with native species of the Île-de-France region, and the Alpine garden promote the site's biodiversity. A visit to the pavilions, especially in winter, allows you to admire plants from the Jurassic era, a permanent bonsai exhibition, as well as textile and cosmetic plants.
