Step inside a haunted mansion with Amelia's secret, an immersive augmented reality game hosted at the Bibliothèque Maurice Genevoix in the 18th arrondissement from October 20 to October 31, 2026. Working in teams of two, you will use a tablet to scan QR codes hidden throughout the library, uncovering virtual objects and solving intricate puzzles to unravel the mansion's mystery. This experience is open to participants aged 12 and over, and it is fully accessible to wheelchair users and those with cognitive disabilities. While admission is free of charge, reservations must be made in person with the library staff during the school holidays.

A tablet with the application will be provided to you after your registration is verified. Find the cards scattered throughout the library and scan the QR codes to discover virtual objects. Find the connections by interacting with the objects to obtain new ones, which are used to advance in solving puzzles that are part of the story of this haunted mansion.

During the school holidays, the Bibliothèque Maurice Genevoix invites you to take part in an augmented reality investigation. From Tuesday, October 20, 2026, to Saturday, October 31, 2026, you and a partner can step into the world of Amelia's secret. Upon arrival, you will be provided with a tablet containing the application needed to navigate this virtual haunted house.
Your task involves locating specific cards distributed throughout the library shelves. By scanning QR codes, you will discover virtual items that must be combined to overcome obstacles and advance through the storyline. Collaboration is key as you work together to solve the puzzles that hold the key to the mansion’s long-standing secrets.
The game is designed for players aged 12 and up. The library ensures an inclusive environment, being fully wheelchair accessible and adapted for individuals with cognitive disabilities. To ensure your participation in this free event, please visit the library in person to secure your booking with the staff members on site.
