The Drancy Shoah Memorial hosts a guided tour on Sunday, December 20, 2026, from 15:00 to 17:00. Located opposite the Cité de la Muette, this place of remembrance documents the history of the main internment and transit camp for Jews in France. Using digital tools and archives, the visit explores the internment process and the deportation of the 64,000 individuals held there. This event is free of charge, and the entire venue is wheelchair accessible, ensuring that all visitors can engage with this significant historical site.
Located opposite the Cité de la Muette, the Shoah Memorial is a place of history, education, and remembrance, located right near what was the main internment and transit camp for Jews in France. 80% of them passed through Drancy, which is approximately 64,000 people. The permanent exhibition uses digital tools and unpublished testimonies to trace the process of internment, transfer to the Bourget and Bobigny stations, and deportation to the extermination centers.
