Our take on this event
Every Saturday from 15:00 to 17:00, the Marguerite Yourcenar Media Library in the 15th arrondissement hosts a recurring virtual reality event. Participants have the opportunity to test various immersive systems, such as Valve Index, Oculus Rift S, PS VR2, and Quest 3 headsets, which allow for exploration of both virtual and mixed reality environments.
These sessions are designed for visitors aged 12 and up, with each user allocated a 20-minute slot. Entry is free for everyone, managed on a walk-in basis subject to availability. You can find the dedicated VR room located on level +2 of the library.
Accessibility is a priority for this program. The facility is wheelchair accessible and specifically adapted for visitors who are blind or visually impaired, as well as those with cognitive disabilities. For those interested in gaming beyond virtual reality, the library also hosts regular video game sessions every Wednesday between 14:00 and 16:00.
