From October 6 to October 18, 2026, the Robert Sabatier Library in the 18th arrondissement hosts the exhibition Hypersensible Hyperpouvoir: les Piailleries de la Maison Perchée. About Les Piailleries, the singular art gallery of Maison Perchée:
Recovery is at the heart of Maison Perchée's mission: it is about thriving rather than surviving with a mental health condition, taking back control of one's life, and finding one's place in society. Empowerment is achieved, in particular, through artistic expression.
Exhibiting Les Piailleries means placing the most marginalized back at the center—those we call "mad," yet whose experiences resonate with everyone else's. Writing, painting, photography, video, music... All formats are appreciated and exhibited.

Maison Perchée is a non-medical association specializing in young adults living with mental health conditions, based on mutual aid between those affected. Online and in Paris (59 avenue de la République, Paris 11th).
It is also a place open to everyone, where the general public, those affected, and their loved ones meet. These moments of mixing are precious and necessary if we want to make our society a world where we can live happily without hiding our mental health condition.
