SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 14: Writing workshop for the 'Monte le son' event: Woman and a femininity of one's own

There are the women we are taught to be, those we become, those we imagine, and those we choose. There are legacies, silences, transmitted gestures, memories, desires, and everything that gradually shapes a singular way of being in the world. This workshop proposes to explore, through writing, what it means to be a woman and build a femininity that resembles us. Write to search, remember, invent, repurpose the words received, and perhaps find new ones. No need to be used to writing: the workshop is open to everyone, whether you write often or never.

So, come with your words, your silences, or simply your curiosity. Let's take the time to write together, perhaps to tell our stories, and to discover what words bring forth when they meet.

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 21: Fore-edge painting

Our take on this event

Located in the Marguerite Duras media library, the Club Créa offers an eclectic program every Saturday afternoon. Participants can experiment with various techniques: botanical printing, laser cutting, manga drawing, crochet, multicolor 3D printing, creative writing, edge painting, or textile crafting. The series concludes with a Bibliofab party on December 5, followed by a Santa's workshop on December 12.

These free sessions are open to anyone aged 10 and older, subject to prior registration with the media library. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Creative materials are provided, although some workshops require participants to bring their own items for customization. The use of specialized equipment in the Bibliofab is generally managed through dedicated software.

The venue is fully wheelchair accessible and adapted for blind or visually impaired guests. For any project ideas or further details, the Bibliofab team can be reached via email. Come share these moments of creativity, discovery, and social connection throughout the autumn season.
