About

From February 22 to March 6, 2027, Théâtre Ouvert presents Portrait hypothétique de deux tueurs en série, a play written by Yacine Sif El Islam. Drawing on a real-life crime, the piece blends archival material, fiction, and autofiction to examine social and intimate violence. Suitable for audiences aged 14 and over, this production explores the profound impact of violence on both the individual and society. The venue is fully accessible to all, providing specific support for wheelchair users, individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing—with sign language integrated—as well as those who are blind, partially sighted, or have cognitive disabilities.

Using this real-life crime as a starting point, Yacine Sif El Islam combines archives, fiction, and autofiction to examine the social, intimate, and collective violence that impacts bodies.
