About

On Sunday, March 28, 2027, Le Baiser Salé jazz club hosts vocalist and composer Caloé for a special Sunday jam session. Known for her critically acclaimed albums Saisons and Le Voyageur, Caloé brings her signature blend of jazz, folk, and pop to the stage. This event serves as a showcase for emerging talents, offering a vibrant space for musical exchange and improvisation. The session is open to attendees aged 18 and over. Join this monthly gathering in the heart of Paris to witness a professional set followed by an open jam where the spontaneity of jazz takes center stage.

Velvet voice, masterful scat, energy… this singer and songwriter is one of the most endearing figures of French vocal jazz.

On stage, she captivates, scats, and juggles with words. She makes jams her playground… and yours! Two albums, two chapters of a beautiful story: Saisons (2020), poetic and refined, critically acclaimed, then Le Voyageur (2024), where jazz, folk, and pop intertwine to take us into a generous imaginary world. An artist who moves forward, who explores, and it shows!

Since 2018, the singer has been gracing the stage of Le Baiser Salé for summer jams and hosting the Sunday jams once a month, evenings geared towards young talents. 45 minutes of concert to set the tone, then it's time for the JAM!!

Our take on this event

The evening kicks off at 20:00 with a 45-minute performance led by Caloé. Drawing from her repertoire featured on the albums Saisons and Le Voyageur, she demonstrates her mastery of scat singing and vocal storytelling. This initial set establishes the musical tone for the night and highlights the artistic evolution of one of France's most engaging jazz voices.

Following the performance, the floor opens up for the jam session, which continues until 00:00. Since 2018, these monthly events at Le Baiser Salé have focused on supporting young musicians and fostering a collaborative atmosphere. Participation is restricted to adults aged 18 and older. While the event is free, entry is subject to specific conditions; please check with the venue staff for details regarding access requirements.
