Le Baiser Salé (Paris 1st)
About
On Sunday, May 30, 2027, Le Baiser Salé hosts vocalist and composer Caloé for a dedicated jazz improvisation night. Known for her velvet voice and masterful scat technique, Caloé invites the audience to take part in an energetic jam session. The evening begins with a 45-minute set to set the stage, followed by an open invitation for musicians to join in. This event is strictly for adults aged 18 and over, and admission is free with the purchase of a drink. It is the perfect opportunity to discover emerging jazz talents in an intimate atmosphere.
Velvet voice, mastered scat, energy... this singer and composer is one of the most endearing figures of French vocal jazz.
On stage, she captivates, scats, and juggles with words. She makes jams her playground... and yours! Two albums, two chapters of a beautiful story: Saisons (2020), poetic and refined, acclaimed by critics, then Le Voyageur (2024), where jazz, folk, and pop intertwine to take us into a generous imaginary world. An artist who moves forward, who explores, and it shows!
Since 2018, the singer has been gracing the stage of Le Baiser Salé for summer jams and hosting the Sunday jams once a month, evenings oriented towards young talents. 45 minutes of concert to set the tone, then it's time for the JAM!!
