About
During the workshop, you will discover screen printing by printing your own design on paper. To do this, we will go through all the essential steps of screen printing, from preparing the screen to the final print. Come with your visual! It can be a drawing, a graphic, a photo, or text; let your imagination run wild! For this introductory session, your design must be suitable for single-color printing. You will leave with about ten paper prints.
During the workshop
To ensure your introduction goes as smoothly as possible, here are some tips to follow at the workshop.
- Avoid loose or messy clothing that you might worry about staining.
- Respect the space and equipment; you will be participating in a workshop in a shared space.
- Finally, if you wish, feel free to bring something to share for a snack. Since you will be standing the whole time, you might get a bit hungry in the middle of the afternoon.
