The Arc de triomphe hosts a special family workshop on Saturday, November 7, 2026, combining historical exploration with the art of paper folding. Participants will discover the monument's intricate floral carvings—including acanthus leaves, palms, and laurel wreaths—before creating their own origami pieces inspired by these designs. This two-hour session is designed for children aged 6 and up, accompanied by an adult. Please note that the workshop room is not accessible to visitors with reduced mobility. Participants should gather in the tunnel, specifically by the stone benches, to begin their visit.

Learn the art of paper folding as a family! Acanthus leaves and flowers, palms, laurel and olive wreaths... discover the floral decorations of the Arc de triomphe during an origami workshop and create unique pieces.
A visit to the monument is included in the program for this hands-on family workshop.

Our take on this event
Join us on Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 10:00 to 12:00 for a unique experience at the Arc de triomphe. The session starts with a guided tour of the monument, focusing on its rich sculptural details, followed by a hands-on origami workshop where you can craft your own botanical-inspired figures.
This event is open to children from age 6. Pricing is set at 16:00 per accompanying adult. A reduced rate of 9:00 applies to children, holders of the Passion monuments subscription, and individuals receiving social benefits. Please be advised that the entire activity is conducted solely in French.
To participate, please meet at the stone benches located inside the tunnel. As a reminder, the workshop room does not provide accessibility for persons with reduced mobility.
