Ciné-club at Cinéma des Cinéastes: I LOST MY BODY

For this back-to-school ciné-club, we are hosting the 1st Animation Night.

A French director and screenwriter, Jérémy Clapin has established himself with a unique universe at the crossroads of animation, fantasy, and intimate storytelling.

I LOST MY BODY (2019) is a film about what connects us to ourselves, to others, and to what we have lost. Through the strange and obstinate journey of a hand searching for its body, Jérémy Clapin composes a tale of love, memory, and reconstruction, where animation becomes a territory of freedom not reserved solely for children.

With its own distinct language, animated cinema is capable of reaching all ages and telling the most intimate stories with unique freedom.

A deeply singular film, both poetic and moving, where a simple hand ultimately carries a whole life.

Jérémy Clapin, along with his producer Marc du Pontavice and their team, invite you on Monday, September 21st at 8:00 PM to discuss the film with them after the screening of I LOST MY BODY.

As usual, a complimentary drink will be offered before the screening. It will also be an opportunity for you to try your luck in our raffle to win prizes!
