Pop-up store at the Sewer Museum

Organized for a single day, this pop-up store is part of the museum's commitment to making a often overlooked heritage site—the Paris sewers—accessible and attractive. Off the beaten path, this initiative allows the curious, collectors, and urban design enthusiasts to leave with useful, aesthetic objects that carry a unique history.

All items offered are designed and manufactured in Paris, using recycled materials from sewer worker uniforms. This approach is part of a circular economy and aims to promote the tangible heritage of urban services. Among the pieces for sale:

  • Bags (shopping, tote bags, backpacks)
  • Eyeglass cases
  • Aprons (kitchen or workshop)
  • Laptop sleeves
  • And many other creations inspired by the Parisian underground world.

Each object tells a story: that of the men and women who maintain the capital's underground networks, but also that of a city that reinvents its resources to create something new from the old.
